Twirl is a 501 c 3 play & discovery space providing play-based learning programs for Taos kids and their families since 2007. Our mission is to support the growth and potential of kids ages 0-12 in Taos County through inspirational, community-wide opportunities to gather, learn, create and play.
In addition to our free play space which is a vital community hub for families, we provide free early childhood classes; on-site field trips; outreach programs in Taos County schools, preschools and Headstarts; community events and family engagement programs.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income.
Taos Loves Kids provides parenting classes to our community to support and increase the nature and importance of parent/child attachment to build positive ongoing interactions. We are building a community of care for young children and their families to reduce isolation, facilitate understanding of child development, and build parent resiliency in order to decrease chances of child abuse and neglect.
